Step 2: Review the timetables for relevant bus number - some buses are more frequent at peak times than off-peak

Chatterbus
Chatterbus is a community, not-for-profit, affordable bus operating between Cobham and Weybridge.
It connects Cobham and Stoke d’Abernon train station, St Andrew’s Primary School in Cobham and St Matthew’s Infants School in Downside, Brooklands shopping centre, Weybridge and Oxshott.
On Saturdays only, Leatherhead is also a destination.

ii) Check how to pay your bus operator
Most offer a range of payment options, including contactless, apps and on-line tickets.
Chatterbus
Pay the driver when you board the bus – you can use your contactless debit or credit card, make a mobile payment with Google Pay or Apple Pay, or just use cash.
Notice re payment on the website last updated 7 May 2022: ‘Please note the weekly C1 and Saturday C2 service are currently unable to take contactless payments, so please pay with cash. All normal bus passes issued by Surrey County Council are accepted for free travel as normal. The weekly C3 service continues to accept Contactless Credit/Debit Cards, Cash and Concession Cards as normal.’

Child prices: £3.50 day, £15 week
Buy your Acorn ticket for the day or week from the driver on the first bus you board.
Tickets can be purchased and used at any time and on any day of the week. Most buses on routes covered by the ticket display the Acorn logo.
You can change between different bus companies many times with no further charges. This is therefore useful for long journeys across different bus operators.

Woking Travelwide bus ticket
Adult prices: £5.80
Unlimited travel on bus in the Woking area, it also includes travel to and from St Peter’s Hospital, but only from the Woking area.
Trains connect our part of Surrey well with London, Surbiton, Woking (particularly from Weybridge, Walton and Esher) and Guildford.

Train tickets

Train travel can be expensive. Buying ahead, travelling off-peak, checking for discounts and using railcards can help. The Network Railcard is the default card for adults.
