What do you enjoy most about the MCC?

• Our Muslim community has a strong sense of unity and compassion. People come together to celebrate milestones, support one another during difficult times, and work collectively to make a positive difference.
• My kids grew up in the Tri-Valley and went to MCC Sunday School. They built lifelong friendships, learned the values of faith, compassion, and service, and developed a strong sense of belonging. Watching them grow in this environment has made me deeply appreciate everything this community represents.

What do you think can be improved about the MCC?

• I believe we can continue to strengthen engagement by creating more opportunities for members of all ages to connect and participate. We do a lot for the youth, but we need to expand programs for seniors and new families so they feel welcomed and included.

What kind of positive impact will you have on the MCC?

• I have been working a lot with parents and students at the school level, and I understand the sense of community.
• I hope to help strengthen these community connections by supporting programs that bring people together, encourage volunteerism, and ensure that every member feels included and valued.
• I am committed to listening, collaborating, and always keeping the best interests of our community at heart.
