SMFI Dataset Terms of Use

The SMFI Dataset is provided under the MIT License and the additional terms mentioned in this document. Before we provide access to the data, please agree to the following terms of use. After approval, you will receive permission to use and instructions to obtain the SMFI Dataset.

1. You will only use the data for non-commercial research, educational, and humanitarian purposes.
2. You will be liable for any loss or damage in connection with this data. In no event shall ITU, QCRI, or affiliates be liable to the requester or to the user of the data supplied for any special, incidental, punitive, indirect, exemplary, or consequential damages. This data is provided on an “as is” basis and your use of it is at your sole risk. You will indemnify ITU and QCRI, including their affiliates for any loss or damage they may suffer arising from any breach by you of this agreement.
3. ITU and QCRI make no representations or warranties regarding the data, including but not limited to warranties of non-infringement or fitness for a particular purpose.
4. You may provide research associates and colleagues with access to this data provided that they first agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
5. ITU and QCRI reserve the right to terminate your access to the data at any time. Upon this request, any data you've obtained shall be deleted.
6. If you are employed by a for-profit, commercial entity, your employer shall also be bound by these terms and conditions, and you hereby represent that they are fully authorized to enter into this agreement on behalf of such employer.
