Experience:

UI/UX Designer, WisEngineering, Picatinny Arsenal NJ

  • DoD contractor designing user workflow and experiences with Icons8 Lunacy using Material design patterns and aesthetics to be built with Next.js

Lead Digital Developer, Ogilvy Health, Parsippany NJ

December 2009 - October 2023

  • While at OgilvyHealth, I led a team of developers that oversaw every HTML/CSS Javascript that came to dev. Code reviews helped my team grow their own skills. These reviews helped the speed and quality of their work
  • A HTML/CSS/Javascript mentor to the entire dev department. Imparting my knowledge of all things web to my team of junior developers as well as other dev members
  • Over the course of 5 years, worked on a number of Veeva projects producing interactive and engaging content, animations, and calculators
  • Created a javascript library that we use in our projects that require device gestures other than simple taps. It was created to help with the disparity between IOS, Android, and desktop browsers and across multiple input hardware touch screens. The disparity between touch capable devices and screens that emulate mouse events created a need to be able to utilize one library that addressed all sorts of input types.
  • Created a standard template for trade show applications using NW.js. A starter kit of javascript and HTML/CSS files that is used as the basis for a number of  our touchscreen projects. This kit made legal submission, editing, debugging, and user interaction easier and standard. This library led to faster deployment, easier updates, predictable and reliable event tracking and smaller QA sessions.
  • Helped create the current OgilvyHealth website using a headless Wordpress installation working within a Laravel project. This allowed us to quickly deploy/build new features into the site without affecting the Wordpress blog.
  • Tasked with creating a map utility app built with Cordova for IOS and Android. A PHP/MySQL backend was utilized to help users find not only common areas like bathrooms and conference rooms, stairways and exits - but also to each others’ desks. Our operations crew was given access to place employees on the map.
