9/11/23 Board Meeting 5:30pm - 6:30pm

Attendees: Lake, Cortney, Devyn, Gabie, Branden

Members Not Present: Alex, Tim, Skyler

Financials:

1. Treasurer or President shares
2. Board vote that all is in order/board time to ask questions about financials if not

Old Business:

1. Meeting time change (Alex stepping away for a time)
2. One Stop Shop updates
3. Have had meetings with: Lane ESD (Community of Practice), UO SPL & CAPC (not correct initials)

New Business:

1. TransWild Forest Frolic
2. NYE Planning
3. TransPonder MasQUEERade (700 for 6 people)
4. Applications/process for “Queer Eugene Mini-Grant Community Groups”
5. Tabling: mushroom festival??
6. Potential upcoming partnerships: CoP with schools/districts, Books With Pictures (Rainbow Family Reading Time, youth group [both once per month]), nature queer group with Mt. Pisgah Arboretum (once per month), Queeraoke with 255 Madison (once per month)
7. Reimburse Lake (5 for parking [event budget] and 6.95 for tabling [event budget])

• Financials -

• Lake showed links of financials and bank accounts

• Explained how the different colors and organization within the financials are coordinated to show comings and goings as well as what is nested where

• Meeting time changing for this school term (Oct and November)

• Pushing time back – 6pm to 7pm

• Board Member update on possibilities to come for new perspectives and who is holding down the fort

• QE could possibly receive a check for this work
• QE is being a main connecting point for all these places

• We also discussed doing a monthly queer nature thing

• Potential upcoming partnerships: CoP with schools/districts, Books With Pictures (Rainbow Family Reading Time, youth group [both once per month]), Queeraoke with 255 Madison (once per month)

• Point system to narrow down?

• Have a concrete rubric when reading applications that have been narrowed down
