Library Report

To Town Council

 1. Services to the Public: Knitting 1pm on Fridays. Saturday March 14 paper crafts card board rag dolls. March 28 paper craft will be a DIY picture books. Friday March 20, 2026, Avery Seefeldt will do some introductory Yoga and answer Yoga questions.

2. Collections: Inventory went smooth. We are now cleaning up our patron records and sending out bills.

3.  Technology: E-rate filing is on track.

4.  General Administrative Business: The Coffee with a Cop seemed to go well Thursday February 19. 11 people attended and Chief Larson and Officer Ludeman answered a lot of questions. CERT training is scheduled for May 30, 2026 from 8am-5pm at the library. The signup is available on the library’s website prestonhotspringslibrary.org just scroll down on the homepage. This training is available to: “Who: any community members who register at the provided link and complete the mandatory online course (takes between 1 – 5 evenings to complete for most participants). Minors are welcome, so long as their guardians are also participating.”

The library board will meet at the library Wednesday March 18, 2026 at 5pm for their monthly meeting.
