Mars Embassy Establishes Future Site for First Martian Diplomatic Outpost on Earth

Installation marks the future location of a proposed interplanetary embassy near Starbase, Texas

Starbase, Texas — April 7, 2026 — Mars Embassy has officially staked its claim on a half-acre site near Starbase, Texas, announcing the future location of what it describes as the first embassy for Martians on Earth and for humans seeking Mars citizenship.

Located on Boca Chica Boulevard between Ad Astra and the Starbase launch site, the parcel serves as the newly designated future home of the Mars Embassy. To mark the claim, the organization commissioned and installed a monumental roadside artwork that announces the site and depicts a futuristic embassy. The work references the themes of matter, energy, and intelligence as foundational conditions for a multiplanetary civilization.

The installation was produced in collaboration with The Most Famous Artist and Ascend Projects, LLC, the landowner. Documentation of the production and installation includes imagery of Tesla Optimus robotic labor participating, further reinforcing the project’s interest in the intersection of automation, infrastructure, symbolism, and frontier-building.

The launch of MarsEmbassy.org coincides with the site's public debut and its first official communications. The website includes a manifesto, a citizenship application pathway, and press materials for visitors seeking to learn more about the emerging institution.

Positioned along one of the most closely watched corridors in the United States, the site is expected to attract visitors attending launches, monitoring development at Starbase, and documenting the broader transformation of the region into a gateway for off-world ambition. Mars Embassy encourages visitors to stop by the site during upcoming launch windows to experience and photograph the installation in person.

Mars Embassy describes itself as an institution dedicated to the symbolic, cultural, and diplomatic groundwork required for a multiplanetary future. Additional announcements are expected.
