 25, 2019 8:00 pm at the home of Robert and Kathleen Savit, 1606 Brooklyn, Ann Arbor

In this presentation, Zvi Bernhardt

 will discuss resources available at Yad Vashem and at the Arolsen Archives of the International Center on Nazi Persecution, (formerly the International Tracing Service) particularly with respect to information about the victims of the Shoah. Mr. Bernhardt

 will be available after the presentation to consult with people who have specific inquiries concerning shoah victims. In this regard, it should be noted that Mr. Bernhardt will have access to digital resources not publicly available online.

About Zvi Bernhardt Mr. Bernhardt

 has worked at Yad Vashem since 1994 and has been involved in joint projects with the Arolsen Archives (formerly the ITS) and JewishGen. He has lectured at numerous venues in Israel and abroad, including at Conferences of the International Association of Jewish

 Genealogical Societies in Israel, the US and Europe. He has, in addition, a long-standing interest in communal memory and ethics.

 in Israel in advocating for the rights of people with disabilities, and works in a

 the topic of “What do we remember? What should we remember?”

Join the AAOM for a nice treat on a hot day! Kids encouraged to attend! This will take place in Burns Park from 4-6pm by the red playground.

July 19 - Kids' pre-shabbat Backyard BBQ at Rosen Home at 5:45 pm

 Join us for a cookout complete with summer time treats and shabbat songs!

July 28 **DATE CHANGE** - AAOM by the lake - Independence Lake, 1–4 pm

Take a break from Ann Arbor to relax by the lake. Feel free to bring food, sports equipment, games and lawn blankets!
