Who: Open to players of all ages and skill levels

Where: South Bay Table Tennis, 540 Maple Ave, Torrance CA 90503

When: Monday & Wednesday at 6:30 PM & Saturdays at 1:00 PM

Cost: $12 per person

• Prepaid ONLINE registration is required at least 30 minutes before start time.
• Maximum of 22 players per tournament*.
• Players may practice up to 30 minutes before the tournament start time, and should rotate every 5 minutes if others are waiting.                 
• Match start time is default time**. (Delaying the start of your match when there is an available table will result in a default)
• Players are allowed a 2-minute warm-up before each match.
• All ties will be decided with a single game. First player to 5 points wins.
• Winner gets a $15 South Bay Table Tennis Gift Card.
• All rules of USA Table Tennis apply.
• Tournament director has the final say in resolving disputes.

Format: 

4-6 players: Single group, matches will be best of 5; the player with the best record wins.

7 players: Single group, matches will be best of 3; the player with the best record wins.

8-10 players: Two groups, matches will be best of 5; top 2 players from each group advance. There will be semi finals and a final between the advancing players (best of 5).

11-12 players: Two groups, matches will be best of 5; the top player from each group advances to the final (best of 5).

13-15 players: Groups of 4, matches will be best of 5. Groups of 5, matches will be best of 3. One player advances from each group. There will be a 3-way playoff to determine the winner.

16 players: Four groups of 4, matches will be best of 5. One player advances from each group to a single elimination bracket.

17 players: Three groups of 4, one group of 5, matches will be best of 5. One player advances from each group to a single elimination bracket.

18-22 players: Groups of 4, matches will be best of 5. Groups of 5 or 6, matches will be best of 3. One player advances from each group to a single elimination bracket.

Please note:

*A minimum of four players are needed to have a round robin tournament. If there are less than 4 players the event will be canceled for that day.

**Any player that defaults more than one match may be removed from the round robin and disciplinary action is subject to the tournament director.
