• No tracing/copying other people’s art! It must be your own!
• Use the designs provided. If there aren’t any, please use Gekkozilla’s
• Follow the colour palettes and references!
• Cut your own audio
• Send in a WIP after one week!
• Codeword: Someone throw Bluestar the rubber ring!
• This MAP is mostly AMV, with PMV elements added to it!
• Up to 2 parts per person
• Your part is due 2 months after receiving
• Do not be afraid to ask for a 1-2 week extension if need be!
• If you need to drop, please do so ASAP!
• Really push the facial expressions! This map is full of strong emotions and it needs to show!
• Do not add a watermark on your part! We will do this for you!
• Please tell us your discord name so we can add you to the server!
• All StarClan cats must have a white outline and pupils with 80% opacity!!

SCRIPT

Intro - PMV

Tigerstar is shown walking out of camp as he’s been exiled. Bluestar can’t keep up her strong facade any longer and retreats to her den once he’s left the undergrowth, Fireheart stares after her sadly

Part 1

‘Step one, you say we need to talk,

He walks you say “sit down it’s just a talk”’

Fireheart enters Bluestar’s den (As though he’s been called to see her) and sits down patiently. She is calmly nestled in her bed at the back of the den. Her head turns to look at him, her eyes tired and unfocused, with large pupils. Bluestar lipsyncs “sit down it’s just a talk”

Part 2

‘He smiles politely back at you,

You stare politely right on through’

Fireheart gives Bluestar a sheepish smile, sort of urging her to say something, but she does not respond. She looks at Fireheart with a tired expression, which slowly turns to a scowl. (Would help that her eyes look bloodshot to show she’s unwell)

Part 3

‘Some sort of window to your right,

As he goes left and you stay right’

Getting a little nervous, Fireheart sits up and turns to get Cinderpelt. Bluestar suddenly gets up and begins pacing at the back of her den at ‘As he goes left you stay right’ causing Fireheart to turn back to her.

Part 4

‘Between the lines of fear and blame,

You begin to wonder why you came’

Bluestar is frustrated and angry. She finally comes to a halt and sits down with her head hung low. Fireheart feels pity for his leader and goes to comfort her.

Part 5

‘Where did I go wrong? I lost a friend,

Somewhere along in the bitterness’

A quick flashback showing her making Tigerclaw deputy, his eyes glinting at the line ‘I lost a friend.’ The camera pans down in a transition to show him in her den blocking the entrance and advancing on her. Tears well up in her eyes, Tigerclaw’s face reflecting in them.

Part 6

‘And I would have stayed up, with you all night,

Had I known, how to save a life,

Shows Bluestar sitting outside of her den looking at the sky (At this point she’s asking starclan why they’re punishing her) Fireheart watches from below the high rock with a sad expression. A flash back image of Bluestar at her highest point fades to the present where she turns tail back into her den.

Part 7

//Music//

Bluestar is curled up asleep, twitching as though she were cold. Fireheart watches from the entrance and curls up next to her but doesn’t sleep (At each piano note a starclan cat shows up around them such as Snowfur, Oakheart and Redtail)

Part 8

‘Let him know that you know best,

Cause after all you do know best’

Skip to present day again. Fireheart is sat in the camp organising patrols.and notices Bluestar pacing near her den entrance. She looks frustrated. Fireheart looks concerned. Bluestar then looks up and furiously stares at something across the camp (do not show what that thing is)

Part 9

‘Try to slip past his defense,

Without granting innocence’

Fireheart follows her gaze across to the nursery, where Goldenflower lays with her two kits; Bramblekit and Tawnykit, who are playing together. Fireheart also frowns with worry.

Part 10

‘Lay down a list of what is wrong,

The things you told him all along’

Goldenflower notices the two of them staring accusingly and shields her kits from them, hissing defensively. Bluestar gets up and walks out of camp

Part 11

‘And pray to God he hears you,

And I pray to God he hears you’

Fireheart turns and approaches Bluestar who is sitting with her back to him. She is staring up towards the trees at something (again, do not show what that something is) She looks frozen with fear. Fireheart again follows her gaze up towards the treetops, and is greeted with the sight of a massive forest fire. He immediately screams a warning to the clan and Bluestar snaps out of her trance.

Part 12

‘Where did I go wrong? I lost a friend,

Somewhere along in the bitterness’

The clan flees from the camp. Fireheart quickly grabs Bramblekit by the scruff and runs. Bluestar gives him a disapproving glance, but Fireheart doesn’t notice. (i know this is not correct to how the books play out but please bear with me)

Part 13

‘And I would have stayed up, with you all night,

Had I known, how to save a life,

Fireheart arrives back in RiverClan where the ThunderClan cats are taking refuge. He returns Bramblekit to a very grateful and worried Goldenflower, and notices Bluestar confronting Mistyfoot and Stonefur; two RiverClan warriors. Bluestar appears to be trying to reason with them, but the two look furious. ( again, i know this confrontation happens during a battle at sunningrocks but please go along with it) Fireheart quickly bounds over to them

Part 14

Mistyfoot takes a step forward and shouts something furiously at Bluestar, while Stonefur stands next to Mistyfoot, growling. Bluestar coils back in distress and sadness, tears forming in her eyes. Fireheart runs between them, separating them, and tries to reason with them, but they turn away in disgust and leave. Fireheart looks back at Bluestar who is now sat down, shaking and staring at the ground with tears streaming down her face

Part 15

‘As he begins to raise his voice,

You lower yours, and grant him one last choice’

(There is a time skip and we are back in the ThunderClan camp. The forest has regrown and Tigerstar and the dogs have been terrorizing the clan) Fireheart is sat at the edge of the camp, his eyes closed. He looks troubled. Show flashes of aggressive dogs, Tigerstar, and Bluestar looking terrified. Fireheart opens his eyes to see Bluestar sat in the middle of the camp with the rest of the clan.She’s looking directly at him with an icy glare. Fireheart exhales and composes himself before standing to join them, dismissing Bluestar’s hostile gaze. The clan looks to him expectantly, awaiting their instructions

Part 16

‘Drive until you lose the road,

or break with the ones you’ve followed’

Fireheart addresses the clan, lipsyncing the line ‘drive until you  lose the road’. The clan turn and leave the camp, (leaving the two cats that they look up to and follow)

Part 17

‘He will do one of two things,

He will admit to everything’

Fireheart finally turns his attention to Bluestar, who looks up at him and sits up from her previously slumped position. They make eye contact. Fireheart smiles kindly at her

Part 18

‘Or he’ll say he’s just not the same,

And you’ll begin to wonder why you came’

Bluestar, looking distressed suddenly lipsyncs the words ‘just not the same’, but gives him a reluctant but hard nod. The two get up race out of the camp together.

They split away from each other and run in opposite directions (Blue running to the clan and Fire running to the ravine) MAKE THEIR SEPARATION REALLY SIGNIFICANT

Part 19

‘Where did I go wrong?I lost a friend’

Fireheart runs through the trees, being chased by the dog pack leader. He looks tired but determined, gritting his teeth

Part 20

‘Somewhere along in the bitterness’

Fireheart manages to outrun the dog and bursts out of the trees to the edge of the ravine. He skids to a halt, but before he has time to do anything, he’s attacked by Tigerstar; taken by surprise

Part 21

‘And I would have stayed up with you all night,

Had I known how to save a life’

Fireheart and Tigerstar tumble and stop next to the cliffside. As Tigerstar leans back he’s scored in the face by Fireheart, who looks visibly exhausted. He staggers back from the blow, but both of their ears perk up and they suddenly turn around to look at the trees

Part 22

‘Where did I go wrong?I lost a friend,

Somewhere along in the bitterness’

The dog bursts from the trees and runs straight towards Fireheart and Tigerstar. Tigerstar jumps out of the way with a grin, leaving Fireheart to his death and the dog charges at him. Fireheart looks up at it with fear (show a reflection in his eyes of his impending doom)

Part 23

‘And I would have stayed up with you all night,

Had I known how to save a life’

Out of the blue (ha, get it?) Bluestar jumps up onto the dogs head and attacks it furiously. They roll off the edge of the ravine together and Fireheart screams. Bluestar falls and is about to hit the water (DO NOT SHOW HER HITTING THE WATER)

Part 24

‘How to save a life’

From and underwater perspective, we see Bluestar hitting the water and beginning to sink.

Everything is suddenly calm. Bluestar weakly stretches out her forepaw and tries to reach the surface, which is getting further and further away as she sinks

Part 25

‘How to save a life’

Bluestar gives up and closes her eyes, letting herself sink. Oakheart’s spirit weaves around her, looking sad but hopeful. At the end, we see a perspective view from Bluestar at Oakheart reaching his paw out towards her. Oakheart’s image is suddenly replaced by Fireheart, desperately reaching for her. Her eyes go from drowsy to surprised

Part 26

‘Where did I go wrong?I lost a friend,

Somewhere along in the bitterness’

Fireheart is desperately trying to pull Bluestar back to the surface, but Mistyfoot and Stonefur join him and begin to help and they successfully drag her up

Part 27

‘And I would have stayed up with you all night,

Had I known how to save a life’

They burst through the surface and drag her now unconscious form to the edge of the river and onto dry land

Part 28

‘Where did I go wrong?I lost a friend,

Somewhere along in the bitterness’

Fireheart immediately rushes to her side and starts trying to revive her. Shaking her body and desperately talking to her, with tears streaming down his face. Mistyfoot and Stonefur look on sadly

Part 29

‘And I would have stayed up with you all night,

Had I known how to save a life’

Bluestar weakly opens her eyes and looks at the 3 of them lovingly. Mistyfoot and Stonefur shuffle closer; tears forming in their eyes. Bluestar gives them one last smile before her head drops, and her eyes slowly close. Fireheart wails over her corpse in misery, and the camera pans up to the sky

Part 30

‘How to save a life’

Cut to Fireheart and Cinderpelt making their way across the moor, towards the Mothermouth. Fireheart steps inside and lies down, touching his nose to the Moonstone and closing his eyes

Part 31

‘How to save a life’

Fireheart wakes up in StarClan, surrounded by the cats who will give him his 9 lives. (do not show Bluestar yet) Redtail steps forward and lipsyncs the line, ‘how to save a life’. Thanking him for revealing the truth about his death and for looking after Bluestar

Part 32

Fireheart turns his head, looking for Bluestar. He looks a little worried, but his ears suddenly perk up. The Starclan cats part to show Bluestar walk in, panning up to her face looking bright, young and happy again.

Part 33

Bluestar approaches Fireheart and his eyes light up. End with them touching noses as she gives him a life and the screen cuts to black
