April 22

The run will begin at 8:00am at the Publix located at Punta Gorda Crossings. They are located at 2310 Tamiami Trail, at the corner of 41 and Airport Road. The run will travel north bound across the SR 41 bridge making a stop at the Charlotte Harbor School to greet the students and a quick water break. We will then continue across Tamiami Trail ending at the Publix at Port Charlotte Crossing. They are located at 4265 Tamiami Trail in Charlotte Harbor.

 The run is a total of 4.9 miles.

There will be a van and trailer at the Publix at Port Charlotte Crossing at 0745 hours, departing at 0810 hours sharp to carry runners and bicycles down to the Punta Gorda Crossings.

We will begins at 8:00AM at the Crystal River Fire Department (650 NW 3rd Ave, Crystal River, FL 34428), travel south on Hwy 19, and then East on Hwy 44 to the Crystal Springs Publix (3 miles). From Publix, we will have a bike ride East on Hwy 44 to the Inverness Bealls (about 10 miles). We will run again East on Hwy 44, finishing at the steps of the Sheriff’s Office on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Ave (4 miles).

First Leg: The run will take place beginning in Century staging at the Food Giant, 9511 North Century Boulevard at the Florida/Alabama state line on (HWY 29) at 7AM . The run will start at 7:15. We will run south for approximately 1.6 miles to the Century City Hall at 7995 North Century Boulevard (HWY 29).

Second Leg: Begin staging at 8:40AM at Escambia County Sheriff’s Department 1700 W Leonard St Pensacola. The run will start at 9am. Running from Leonard Street to Palafox we will run past FDLE, 1301 N Palafox St Pensacola and pick up any staff from there that want to join us and make our way on to Pensacola PD, 711 N Hayne St where we will pick any more runners who want to join up. We will pause here for a water break . The run will continue on down Palafox to our ending point at Palafox Pier, S Palafox St & S Jefferson St. The approximate mileage for this leg is about 3.4 miles.

Indian River

Please take note of the following information regarding the Special Olympics Torch Run. The event will take place on April 8, 2026, with staging beginning at 8:30 AM and the run starting at 9:00 AM.

The starting point will be at the at Chili's (940 US Highway 1), Vero Beach, FL 32960. The route will begin by heading north on US-1 to 1255 US-1 (Publix) for a water break and photo opportunity. After that, the run will continue north on US-1 to 415 21st St, Vero Beach, 32960 (Publix) for another water break and photo opportunity. After that the run will continue East on 211st Street  to end at 2-12 Park Ave (Youngs Park), where food and refreshments will be provided.

Run will start at 0900. The start and finish location will be at Francis Field ( 25 West Castillo Drive in Saint Augustine) The route will be 1.9 miles traveling through historic downtown Saint Augustine, Parking will be available at the historic downtown parking facility and Ameris Bank. Both locations are directly across the street from Francis Field

May 9

Run will start at 9:00 AM Central High School located at 4101 S. 25th street, Fort Pierce, FL 34981. The run will conclude at the Publix located at 5555 NW St.James Drive, Port Saint Lucie, FL 34983

Sumter

April 6

  It will Start at Kenny Dixon and from Kenny Dixon near the skate park, we will travel east on W. Noble to US HWY 301.  Then South on US HWY 301 to Bushnell Plaza and go east towards the Historic Court House Steps.  Approximately 1.4 miles.  After leaving the Court House steps, we will travel south on N. Florida St to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Ave.  Go east on Dr. MLK Jr. Ave to 316 Dr. MLK Jr. Ave (ARC of Sumter County).  Approximately .7 miles. The total distance is 2.1 miles.

Suwannee

April 10

Registration will begin at 9AM. The run start time is 10AM. Run will be a two mile run leaving Suwannee High School traveling west on Pinewood Way to Walker Street, north on Walker to 11th Street, east on 11th Street, and then south on Pine Avenue ending back at Suwannee High School.

Taylor

April 9

Meet at Walmart in Perry at 0930 hours. The run will begin at 1000 hours. The run begins at Walmart and then head north on Jefferson Street and end at the Taylor County Courthouse. The distance is approximately 1.02 miles.

Union

April 17

Registration at 7:30. Run begins promptly at 8:30. Starting location will be at the lake on Lake Ave in Lake Butler. Run will travel up Lake Ave to Hwy 100, then west on Hwy 100 to 12th Street, travel up 12th Street to Hwy 121, north on 121 to the elementary school, ending at the high school. Walkers can join in at the elementary school. Route is approximately 2.8 miles.

The event will begin with registration at 8 a.m. at Limitless Park (700 Hull Road, Ormond Beach, Florida, 32174). The run will begin at 8:45 a.m. that is a nice ½ mile run down Doug Thomas Way and back to complete a 1-mile fun run. We will have Food Trucks, “Touch-A-Truck” and more.

Wakulla

April 15

We will be gathering at 9:30 a.m. and the run will start at 10 a.m. We begin at the Wakula County Sheriff's Office parking lot at 15 Oak Streek and follow Oak Street to Cedar Avenue. After a quick dog leg on Cedar Avenue we will run the rest of the way on Ochlockonee Street and finish where the Wakulla County Courthouse meets Arran Road. Distance is 1.4 miles.

Walton

March 12

We will begin to gather at 0800 hours at Chautauqua Hall of Brotherhood at 95 Circle Drive in Defuniak Springs.  After a short photo session at approx. 0830 hours, we will run around Lake Defuniak and end back at Chautauqua Hall.

If a runner is unable to keep pace, we will have a transport vehicle in back so that a runner can ride the rest of the way or simply take a break. Please remember to wear your SOFL LETR shirt.

Washington

March 16

We are planning to meet at 8:00am., in front of the Washington County Courthouse, (1293 Jackson Ave, Chipley, FL 32428). The run will begin at 8:30am. Commencing from the Court House in Chipley, Fl., ending at Peoples South Bank, located in front of Walmart. The run will be approximately 2.1 miles.

Light refreshments will be provided at the end of the run by Mrs. Tisha Marsceill and the fine folks of Peoples South Bank. We encourage everyone to come out and participate for this great cause.
