3 Moons and a Planet that Could Have Alien Life - Ted Talk

We may not be alone in the universe, in fact, the universe may well be TEEMING with life. We just didnt know what we were looking for in the past.

He used a lot qualifying when he was making his points “perhaps, maybe, if,” etc. I think this makes him more credible because he is being realistic and not making broad-sweeping, crazy person claims.

He quotes Carl Sagan, famous astrophysicist who popularized space exploration and the notion that there may be extraterrestrial life out there, “it takes extraordinary evidence for extraoridnary claims.”

Scale of the Universe: infographic

The universe is infinitely large and infinitely tiny. This notion BLOWS my mind and makes me question my role in the universe. It somehow makes me feel tiny and significant at the same time. Idk why

Feynman quote about things leading to more and more- in “the great adventure”

The same thrill, the same awe and mystery, come again and again when we look at any problem deeply enough. With more knowledge comes deeper, more wonderful mystery, luring one on to penetrate deeper still. Never concerned that the answer may prove disappointing, but with pleasure and confidence we turn over each new stone to find unimagined strangeness leading on to more wonderful questions and mysteries -- certainly a grand adventure!
