From the Deputy Headteacher:

Dear families

We are now fully into the swing of the second half of the Autumn Term.  We are enjoying being back at school and looking forward to all the celebrations and learning that we have planned in the run up to Christmas.

We’ve already had a busy term of events!  We were very proud of the football team who represented the school in a tournament last week and children in years 5 and 6 who successfully passed their Cycling Proficiency Test this week - well done to all!  Well done also to Year 4 who won the ‘Class Target Challenge’ last term!  They enjoyed their whole class treat to the cinema today.  Their behaviour was exemplary and was even commented upon by a member of the public.

Thank you so much for supporting the Book Fair last week.  The success of the event now means that we can have over £500 worth of new books for our school - thank you!

There are lots of exciting events planned in the next few weeks - please keep an eye out for Parent Mails, class notices and the dates section of the newsletter below.

Many thanks

Mrs Lewis
