2021 Coastal Cutthroat Coalition Drawing Rules

The prize drawing will utilize the following rules. This is a contest of pure chance, not a raffle. No purchase is necessary to enter the contest and all entrants have the same odds of winning a prize as any other. The full rules we will use are:

  1. Purchases or donations are not required to enter the drawing.

  1. Participants must currently reside in Washington state to be eligible and have registered for the drawing via the following form: https://forms.gle/pVWmWPERPzcV8w5m7 . Registrations must be received by 11 pm (PST) on April 30th, 2021.

  1. The drawing will be held beginning at 7pm on May 3rd, 2021. Participants must respond to a confirmation email within 48 hours to claim their prize and confirm the shipping address. For unclaimed prizes, another recipient will be randomly drawn until the prize is claimed.

  1. Participants are eligible to win multiple prizes. The odds of being selected vary depending on the total number of participants in the drawing but all have an equal chance.

  1. Winners will be selected via ______. This method uses a randomized selection where all entries have a statistically equal chance of being selected.

  1. The drawing will be live-streamed online at: https://www.facebook.com/groups/2253888043. Although participants may join the livestream, they do not have to be present to be eligible to win. However, all participants must claim their prize within 48 hours of receiving a confirmation email.

  1. The names of winners will be published on the Facebook group “Fly Fishing in Washington,” which is publicly listed online.

  1. A list of the names of those who won prizes of greater than $25 in value will be made available to those who request it (as per Washington law) by writing to:

Mark Steudel - msteudel@gmail.com.

  1. Prizes are charitable donations from sponsors and cannot be exchanged for cash. Winners assume responsibility for any tax liability under state or federal law. Sponsors and administrators of this contest will not collect any tax revenue on behalf of a government entity.
