Morning Announcement-6/10/2020
Goooooood Morning, Heritage High School!
Greetings, Heritage PRIDE! It’s me, your Principal, Mr. Adam, and
I am coming to you from Heritage High School, the Home of YOUR
PRIDE! Today is Wednesday, June 10, and these are your morning
announcements. Thanks for tuning in today.
Today is the forty-sixth official day of “Distance Learning” in LCPS.
Students, make sure you check your emails for any final week
emails from your teachers. This is it! The Last Day of School!
Graduations will continue today through Friday, and I am so
excited to see all of our Seniors! Anyone can check out the
livestream of our graduation by following the link on our website.
It’s also posted on the Graduation information page.
Class of 2020, remember, we will still air our Virtual Senior
Celebration on Thursday, June 11 th at 5:00 PM (our original
graduation date). It’ll be a little outdated because we had to turn
it in last week, but it was still a lot of fun to make, so I hope you
will tune in. I will broadcast live from Heritage at 4:50 PM on
Twitter, just before the show.
As we wrap up what has been a very challenging year, I want to
say a special thank you to the faculty and staff at Heritage for
their support and hard work. We do this because we care about
our students’ education and future, so thank you to them.
I also want to say thank you to our families who trust us with your
childrens’ future. We strive every day to earn that trust.
Finally, students, thank you for being a part of the Heritage PRIDE!
For our seniors, I hope we get to see each other soon. For
everyone who is coming back, you will be hearing from us over
the summer as we prepare for what our next year is going to look
like! Any way you look at it, it will be an adventure! Students you
make me proud to be your principal. It is an honor to serve you.
That’s it for the morning announcements today, except for me to
remind you that even in these tumultuous times, let’s remember
that we have a choice to make each day about how we will
respond to each situation, even the difficult ones. PRIDE, do
remember, you do choose your own attitude, each day, so let’s
choose a positive and healthy response, even in the midst of a
difficult situation. We love you and we miss you all, Heritage, and
cannot wait to see you again.
ROAR PRIDE!
