Narrator: In this video you will learn how to access and take quizzes, [video opens to a course homepage in Canvas] and view your quiz results. You can follow the same steps to take a survey.

To view quizzes within your course, click the Quizzes link in course navigation to view a list of all quizzes. [highlights the mouse pointing to the quizzes tab in course navigation] You can also view quizzes from the Dashboard. [clicks dashboard in global navigation, and then clicks a quiz title from a course. This opens up the quiz details] Click the quiz title to view quiz details and take the quiz.

On the quiz details page you will see the due date, points possible, number of questions, availability dates, time limit, and the number of allowed attempts. You will also see any instructions provided by your instructor. To begin taking the quiz, click the Take the Quiz button. [highlights the details of the quiz as the narrator speaks them, and then clicks on the take the quiz button which opens the quiz to the first question]

Depending on the quiz settings, quiz questions will all be shown on the same page or shown one at a time. Also, depending on quiz settings, you may be able to return to previous questions by clicking the question name in the sidebar. To mark questions to review, click the flag next to the question. [clicks the flag]  A flag icon will appear next to the question name in the sidebar. [points to flag in the sidebar] Below the questions in the sidebar, you will see Time Elapsed, or if you are taking a timed quiz, you will see Time Remaining. [highlights time remaining area]

If you log out or leave the quiz, you can resume the quiz by opening it and clicking the Resume Quiz button. [shows the quiz as if you back out and then clicks the resume quiz button] After you have completed the quiz, click the Submit Quiz button. [clicks button] Some question types are automatically graded while others must be graded manually by your instructor.

After your quiz has been graded, you can view your quiz results on the quiz sidebar under Attempt Details, or Last Attempt Details. [highlights area] If your instructor allows, you can also view results for individual questions. If the answer was incorrect, it will be indicated by a red flag with a gray flag pointing to the correct answer. Correct answers will be indicated by a green flag. [scrolls down the quiz and points out the different flags] If allowed by your instructor, click the Take the Quiz Again button on the quiz details page to take the quiz again.
