Our Services

Energy Medicine & Light Body Healing

CranioSacral Therapy

CranioSacral Therapy (CST) was developed by Dr. John E. Upledger and is a gentle, hands-on method of evaluating and enhancing the functioning of a physiological body system called the craniosacral system - comprised of the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord.  CST treats restrictions in the body to improve overall health and function and has a powerful impact on the central nervous system.

A typical CranioSacral Therapy session takes place in a quiet, private setting.  You remain fully clothed as you relax on a comfortable, padded table.

Your therapist begins by gently touching parts of your body to monitor the rhythm of the fluid that is flowing around your central nervous system.

By carefully listening with the hands to locate areas of weak fluid flow or tissue motion, your practitioner can trace those areas of weakness through the body to the original source of dysfunction.

Delicate manual techniques are then used to release those problem areas and improve the form and function of your central nervous system.

A CranioSacral Therapy session can last up to an hour or more.  It can be used alone or integrated with other therapies to create powerful effects.

What you experience from your own session is highly individual.  The sessions are generally deeply relaxing, creating feelings of warmth or gentle pulsing in the areas the therapist is working on.

Reiki

Reiki is a Japanese word meaning "universal life energy", the energy found in all things.  Reiki was founded by Dr. Mikao Usui and treats the whole person - physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.  When connected with Reiki, an individual has the possibility of healing, awakening, and enlivening.

A Reiki treatment consists of a sequence of hand placement on a fully-clothed body.  Your practitioner’s hands rest for several minutes at designated positions on your head, upper chest, abdomen and back, and also specific areas in need.

As you relax, the subtle Reiki energy flows, releasing stress, fatigue and pain. This gentle contact connects you with your healing source. It can restore vitality, optimism and clarity, accelerate any healing in progress, and may impart a sense of peace and being gently cared for. Reiki is vital life force energy, the fuel your body/mind/spirit uses to heal itself.

Reiki empowers your authentic self and facilitates your body’s own natural healing process. It is uniquely different with each use, as the recipient absorbs the Reiki energy according to need. Reiki usually “feels good” and can help you feel much better as you heal. Most people sleep better after a Reiki treatment.

It is not necessary to believe that Reiki will work for it to be successful. Reiki heals the whole person—in body, mind and spirit.

Shamanic Energy Medicine

Shamanic Energy Medicine was taught by Dr. Alberto Villoldo, PHD.  These healing and energy practices are based on the Ancient Inkan Traditions.  The Laika are the medicine men and women who have kept and protected the wisdom of these ancient teachings throughout time and cultures.

Shamans have practiced Energy Medicine for thousands of years. All living things possess a luminous energy field surrounding their body. This field contains a blueprint of our personal and ancestral memories. This field can become imprinted with traumatic events and wounds during our lives. This may cause a depression of our immune, nervous or endocrine systems, thereby compromising our ability to fend off disease and emotional turmoil.

The chakras are the organs of the luminous energy field. They are the swirling disks which spin clockwise a few inches above our bodies and are connected to the spinal cord. The chakras transmit information of past trauma and pain directly to the immune, nervous and endocrine systems.

All living organisms are connected via the luminous energy field and therefore imprints within the field can affect our interactions with others. The imprints will enter our physical and emotional world and organize matter. The time to accomplish energy healing is before matter is organized, that is, when it is still energy.

The Shaman works on healing, while western medicine and physicians work on curing. The difference being, western medicine works on eliminating symptoms that have occurred, where as the shaman works at the level of energy before the disease or symptoms may have become manifest. While the healed state may or may not prolong life, it allows for healing and forgiveness and opens the way for an easier transition into the next realm, placing the individual in harmony with the universe.

The Shaman has four principal healing modalities; the first modality is the Illumination process. Imprints within the luminous energy field are formed when the negative emotions that accompany trauma are not healed at the time they occur. The illumination process brings us back into balance, into “ayni”, the proper relationship with the universe. The process combusts the toxic energy around malignant physical and emotional imprints. Finally the illuminations process scours and polishes the luminous energy field removing the imprints and eliminating the “affinity” for us to attract similar events.

The second healing modality is the extraction process; the removal of energies or entities that don’t belong to you. Energy which has crystallized or that is in the fluid state cannot be removed by the illumination process alone and will require one of the various extraction techniques to be utilized.

Soul retrieval is the third Modality (recovering lost soul parts). One journeys to retrieve parts of their soul, which may have fled due to past or childhood trauma. The healed soul part is brought back and the contracts made at an earlier time under duress can be changed.

The last healing modality involves the Great Rites of passage found both in life and death. The Shaman strives to die consciously and to assist others in coming to closure with their life prior to death, so that they too may die consciously.

Preparation for a Session

Set your intention to create new patterns for health and healing.  Identify those areas in your life:

Ask Yourself:

Please dress in light colored clothes for your session.  Dress in loose, comfortable clothing.  Avoid alcohol and recreational drugs before and after your session.

After your session, take time to nurture yourself.  It may take several days to fully integrate the healing you have received.  Each individual experiences healing differently, the effects of the healing may be gradual or immediate, but it will be right for you.
