This week Texas joined other states across the country all but eliminating a person’s opportunity to make their own choice. Texas legislators crafted and implemented a law prohibiting abortion after six weeks. Often a person doesn’t even know they’re pregnant at six weeks!

The fact is this should outrage all of us.

Many across the country, including us, are utilizing non-profit networks to funnel resources and support to pregnant people in Texas — for today and into the future. United to Protect Roe vs. Wade* (UPRW) is one of those non-profit organizations.

We are actively connecting pregnant persons in Texas with emotional and psychological support. When necessary, directions and drivers to the nearest out-of-state OBGYN clinic are being provided. And, we are arranging financial and legal resources within the Texas state lines.
