TENNIS RULES
- Court reservations are made via the online Tennis Court Reservation System at: https://www.supersaas.com/schedule/Fairbrae/Tennis_Courts and are open 7am to 10pm daily.
- Members can make court reservations starting 3 days in advance. The default reservation length is 1.5 hours and can be adjusted from 30 minutes up to 2 hours. You can book 2 hours only if there is a minimum of 2 members in the same playing group. For ball machine use, the same rule applies. 1.5 hours for 1 member and up to 2 hours for 2 members on the court.
- Members of the same playing group cannot reserve consecutive court sessions, but may continue to play if the next session is not reserved. There must be at least a 1.5 hour gap between reservations for a member's next reservation on the same day. Please be mindful and try to avoid making reservations that leave 1/2 hour gaps in the schedule. We encourage better utilization of the courts for all members.
- A household cannot reserve more than 1 court for the same time slot. Member households are limited to 2 reservations per day.
- The court reservation is forfeited if the reserving member does not occupy the court within 15 minutes of the reservation start time.
- Members must delete their reservation from the Tennis Court Reservation System if they do not use the court to allow other members to play. If you are a consistent no-show and do not remove your reservation, your privileges for making a reservation may be revoked.
- The Fairbrae Tennis Committee may reserve courts as needed for tournaments, lessons, or other special events. Members reserving courts following these events must wait for the event to finish before occupying their court.
- Players must wear appropriate attire on the courts. Shoes must have non-marking rubber soles and must be close-toed.
- Members may play with guests and are responsible for payment of applicable guest fees. Guests must register on the Fairbrae Online Guest Registration System.
- The club provides a ball machine for use by adult members or juniors supervised by an adult. Please contact office@fairbrae.com to get directions and code to use ball machine.
- The minimum age for unsupervised member children to use tennis courts is 14 years old.
- The board and Tennis Committee may change these rules at any time and they are subject to the By-Laws and general club rules.
PICKLEBALL RULES
- All pickleball players are subjected to the Fairbrae Tennis Rules as outlined above
- Court reservations are made via the online Tennis Court Reservation System at: https://www.supersaas.com/schedule/Fairbrae/Tennis_Courts and select Pickleball under the usage menu.
- If a member has over four players interested in playing, you may reserve one tennis court and use two pickleball nets on that court to allow for two pickleball games.
- The club provides lines, paddles, and balls for use by adult members or juniors supervised by an adult. The supply bin is located on the tennis deck by the stairs. Members are responsible for setting up the court, and returning all club equipment to the appropriate place.
- 2 Pickleball nets for members use are lined up along the sideline fence of court 1 and court 2 respectively. Nets are to be returned to their appropriate spot between the fence and the bench along each court after play so they are not a hazard for players when the pickleball nets are not in use.
- A third net can be found in the pickleball bin along with two bases. This net may be used on the pickleball court located near the basketball court (lines are already painted on cement). Members are responsible for assembly and disassembly of the additional nets. All club equipment must be returned to the appropriate place.
- Members are responsible for returning the court back to a tennis configuration before the end of their reservation. If you used the pickleball nets, again, please return them between the fence and bench so the feet are not a hazard during court play.
- Members are asked to notify club staff of any items that require attention.
PLAYGROUND RULES
- No pushing, shoving, or rough play.
- No running on wet surfaces.
