TaxAide will be at Mission Milby on

February 3 through April 14, 2026

SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT!
Walk-ins accepted if space is available.
- Pick up information envelopes and intake forms from the receptionist at Mission Milby, 2220 Broadway, Houston 77012, and COMPLETE THE INTAKE FORM BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT.
- For your appointment, bring your envelope to the site. Include the following in your envelope:
- Completed Intake form
- Picture IDs (Driver’s License, passport, etc.) for primary taxpayer and spouse. Copies are OK.
- Social Security cards or ITIN forms for EVERYONE listed on the return
- All forms showing income sources. A list of “cash” income should be included if applicable
- Information on payments and eligibility for the Affordable Care Act (ACA – Obamacare) if you participated in this health insurance program at any time during the year. (Form 1095-A)
- Bank information for Direct Deposit of refunds or debit of payments if desired
- Any forms or letters you received from the IRS
- Prior year tax return, if available
- Clients should arrive 15 minutes before their appointment time. A Client Facilitator will insure that the Intake Form is filled out and that all necessary paperwork is available before meeting with a Tax Counselor.
- Clients will meet with a Tax Counselor for the intake interview and preparation of the draft return. Clients will be asked to wait until a second Counselor can perform a Quality Review. After meeting with the second Counselor, clients will be asked to sign a copy of the return before it is e-filed with the IRS (at no cost). Clients may be asked to stay until confirmation is received that the IRS has accepted the return. A copy of the tax return is provided to the client.
