Step 1 – Defining the Scope of Work

Develop a scope of work that that explains / highlights:

  • Overview (description, size, location, phases, contact and payment information, selection process, standards and regulations
  • Deliverables (objectives, timelines, milestones, designs, labor, material)
  • Considerations (monitoring, evaluation, specific and related tasks, critical tasks, hazards/controls and associated risk levels)

Step 2 – Communicating and Establishing Contractor HSE Expectations

  • Ensure the following sections are reviewed in detail … to ensure alignment to expectations

  • Kick Off Meeting form (JACOS  to complete, estimated 60 min one time during meeting) – Step 4
  • Site Access Request forms and associated training requirements (estimated 5 mins to complete) – Step 5
  • Monthly Stewardship form (estimated 30 min monthly) – Step 5
  • HSE Performance Evaluation form (JACOS  to complete, estimated 30 min) – Step 6

Step 3 – Contractor Pre-Qualification

Step 4 – Selection and Development of Appropriate Agreement

Step 5 – Contractor Management and Performance Tracking

Step 6 – HSE Performance Evaluation

Complete the HSE Performance Evaluation and forward off to the Service Requestor for signoff

  • To assess and store Service Providers onsite performances to later review during the awarding of new scopes of future work.
