Technostacks Infotech Pvt. Ltd. (“we,” “us,” or “our”) takes your privacy seriously. This Privacy policy (“Privacy policy”) explains our data protection policy. It describes the types of information we may process when you install and/or use our application called “PicScan - Image to Text Scanner” software application for Apple Mac devices (the “App,” “our App”) and explains how we and some of the companies we cooperate while processing that information.

We process the following personal information about you when you utilize the App. We only take information as low as your user profile details to grant you access and tracking your in-app purchase information.

• In-App Purchase - In compliance with our commitment to user privacy and security, we want to assure you that we do not store any information on our servers. However, to access certain premium features within the app, in-app purchases are available. Rest assured, any transaction data associated with these purchases and no personal information is stored or shared on our server.

• Other information Directly related to your use of the App, such as photos and documents you upload to the App. Upon your consent, we also may have access to your camera roll.

2. Information That Is Processed Automatically

When you utilize the App, some information about your device and your user behaviour may be processed automatically. This information is generally non-personal, i.e., it does not, on its own, permit direct association with any specific individual, and we may access it only in aggregated form. That information access can be through OS, e.g., Big Sur, Sonoma, Ventura, or through the third party, you have given access to your Mac devices. As a company, we do not ask for any of your personal information for granting application access. We do not store or hold any of your documents, do not read them or fetch them.

Information related to your device. When you utilize a Mac device (Macbook Air, Macbook Pro, iMac, Mac Mini, Mac Studio or Mac Pro) to access our App, We don’t store or get any information from (“user”) device.

• Cookies and similar technologies. When you utilize the App, we may use cookies and similar technologies like pixels, web beacons, scripts to process information about how you utilize our App and offer features to you. A cookie is a text file containing small amounts of information which are downloaded to your device when you access the App. The text file is then sent back to our server each time you utilize the App. This enables us to operate the App more effectively. For example, we will know how many users access specific areas or features within our App and which links or ads they clicked on. We use this aggregated information to understand and optimize how our App is utilized, enhance our marketing efforts, and provide content and features that are of interest to you. We may ask advertisers or other partners to serve ads or services to the App, which may involve cookies or similar technologies.

Our App may contain links to third-party websites/services, or you may access the App from a third-party site. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third-party sites or services linked to or from our App, comprising the information or content contained within them.

HOW LONG WE USE YOUR PERSONAL DATA

We generally retain your personal information for as long as it is necessary to perform the App’s functional service and comply with our legal obligations. If you no longer want us to utilize your information that we physically access and store, you can request that we erase your personal information and close your account.

Residents of the State of California (USA) have the right to request a list of all third parties to whom our App disclosed certain personal information (following the laws of the State of California) in the previous year for the purposes of direct marketing of such third parties. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

Our App is not intended for children under the age of 18. Therefore, we do not knowingly collect or solicit any personal information from children under 18. No one under age 18 may provide any personal information to the App. If you are under 18, do not use or provide any information on this App or through any of its features. Do not provide any information about yourself, including your email address. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under age 18 without verifying parental consent, we will erase that information as quickly as possible.
