Center for New Americans offers legal permanent residents
free help with applications for U.S. citizenship

During this time of COVID-19, Center for New Americans staff members are connecting with clients by email, phone, Zoom and regular mail. We are still completing and filing applications – why not yours?!

The help we offer includes completing the N-400 citizenship application, a fee waiver form (if you cannot afford the government application fee and are eligible), and a disability waiver (if appropriate) that must be completed by your medical doctor.

Please note: The Public Charge rule does NOT affect citizenship applications. This means
that if you have received public benefits, such as MassHealth, you can apply for citizenship with no penalty. It also means that if you are income eligible and wish to apply for a fee reduction or a fee waiver, you can do so without putting your citizenship application at risk.
For more information , email or leave a voicemail at 413/587-0084 by selecting option 1.
