Heaven Is Real,

But So Is HELL!”

Donald Trump has joked about likely not making it to heaven.

Fox News’ Peter Doocy on Sunday asked the president on board Air Force One, as he headed to Israel, if he thought his plan for peace between Israel and Hamas “would help” him access the great beyond.

“I’m being a little cute. I don’t think there’s anything going to get me in heaven, OK? I really don’t,” Trump replied.

“I think I’m not maybe heaven-bound,” he added. “I may be in heaven right now as we fly in Air Force One. I’m not sure I’m gonna be able to make heaven, but I’ve made life a lot better for a lot of people.”

Doocy: Does this help get you into heaven?
Trump: I don’t think there’s anything that’s going to get me into heaven. I think I’m not heaven bound.

The Alternative

Let us be honest – hell is not a topic anyone wants to think about. But the Bible is clear: if Heaven is real, so is hell. Jesus did not shy away from warning us about it, not because He wanted to scare us, but because He loves us and does not want anyone to end up there.

So, let me give you 10 reasons why you definitely do not want to go to Hell:

  1. It is eternal – Hell is not temporary. It is forever. Once you are there, there is no end, no escape, and no second chance. Matthew 25:46: And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.
  2. Separation from God – The most devastating part of hell is being completely cut off from God’s presence, His love, and His light.

2 Thessalonians 1:9: Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;

3.  Unquenchable fire – Jesus described hell as a place of unquenchable fire. There is no relief, no extinguishing the

Mark 9:43-48 KJV:

43 And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:

44 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.

45 And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:

46 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.

47 And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire:

  1. Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.

4.  Darkness – While Heaven is full of light, hell is described as a place of outer darkness.                             Matthew 8:12: But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

5.  Weeping and gnashing of teeth – Jesus said hell is filled with regret, sorrow, and anguish. It is not a place of peace. Matthew 13:42: And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

6.  No rest or peace – In hell, there is no rest, no relief, and no hope of comfort. Revelation 14:11: And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.

7.  Isolation and loneliness – Forget the idea of a party in hell. It is a place of despair and complete isolation from everything good

Luke 13:27-28 KJV

27 But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity.

28 There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out.

8.  God’s judgment – Hell is the result of rejecting God’s gift of salvation. It is where those who choose to reject Him face eternal judgment.

John 3:36: He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

9.  It was not meant for you – Hell was not designed for people. It was created for the devil and his angels, but those who reject God’s way choose this alternative. Matthew 25:41: Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:

10.  You do not have to go there – This is the best news of all. Jesus gave His life so that no one has to face hell. Through Him, we have the promise of Heaven.

John 14:6: Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Reflect

Hell is real, but it was never meant for you. God made a way through Jesus so that you could spend eternity with Him in Heaven.

Pray

Lord Jesus, thank You that in Your love, You warned us of the reality of hell, and offered us the gift of salvation. Help me to choose You daily, turning from darkness to light. Help me to lead others to Your truth and grace. Amen.

Hell has no exit. Heaven has one door. Jesus Christ is the only way to Heaven! Amen.
