CLEVELAND, Tenn. -- The Bradley Central Bearettes released their 2019-20 schedule on Tuesday afternoon.

The Bearettes open their title defense on the road at the Baylor School on Nov. 21 during the TSSAA Hall of Champions Week.

Bradley opens up the home portion of their schedule on Nov. 29 in their annual Thanksgiving tournament. This year’s tournament has a new title sponsor as it has been dubbed the 2019 La Quinta Inn Thanksgiving Tournament. The Bearettes open up the tournament against Germantown as they look to win the tournament for the fifth consecutive time. This year’s field is rounded out by Richmond Christian (Va.), Booker T. Washington, East Hamilton, Mae Jemison (Ala.), Campbell (Ga.), and Daniel Boone.

Bradley then hosts Ensworth in the third annual East/West Classic on December 7th inside Jim Smiddy Arena.

Before Christmas, the Bearettes take part in the Farragut classic on Dec. 20 and 21 before making a trip to Naples, Fla. In Naples, Bradley will take on the field of the 2019 Naples Max Prep Shootout. The tournament has already been dubbed as the best girls’ basketball tournament in the nation this year by some.

Non-district opponents include Blackman in a single game on Dec. 3. The Bearettes then have a home-and-home series with Marion and Meigs County.

Bradley opens up district play on Dec. 13 with cross-town rival Cleveland at Jim Smiddy before taking on East Hamilton on Dec. 17.

The Bearettes then return the trip to Cleveland on Jan. 28 and East Hamilton Jan. 21.

Bradley takes on their cross-county rival Walker Valley on Jan. 7 and 31 and takes on McMinn County Jan. 10 and Feb. 4 to continue the longest continuing series in Bearette history.
