Examined performance of text based on Stanislavski/Naturalism.

This is a practical examined performance of a text. You will have interpreted and rehearsed the text in previous lessons.

You will need to have learned all your lines and be able to explain how you have used appropriate Stanislavskian techniques.

You will need to answer a question based on an extract from 'The Woman in Black' and then make links to wider themes/ideas in the whole of the text.

You should revise the plot of the novel, as well as examine characters, settings, themes. Revise the features of the Gothic Genre. Examine how Hill uses techniques, such as pathetic fallacy, to create tension for the reader.

Homework, class notes and worksheets, BBC Bitesize English Literature. Study guides available from online bookshops or by online subscriptions. Aim to recap the events of all 12 chapters.

French

Exam will be writing and translation into French on the topic of holidays
