Kia ora Musselburgh Whānau,
In this newsletter:
All students need to wear a sun hat whilst outside in term 4 - if you need to buy a hat they are available from Karen in the school office for $16. Students will be asked to play in shaded areas if they do not have a hat. We will also be encouraging drinking of water so please can students come to school with a full water bottle each day.
It was great to welcome the campers back from Berwick on Friday. Camp is always a fantastic opportunity for the students to stretch and challenge themselves and it was great to see the many happy faces at their achievements. Thank you to the parents who attended - Stan Barker, Andrew Mitchell, Wendy Watterston, Philippa Davidson, Craig Tempero and Melissa Gray - camp could not go ahead without you all. Finally a big thank you to Kat Ratcliffe and Lonaye King for their organisation and many hours of preparation to make the camp a success.
Mr Matt McCormick has resigned from his position as Assistant Principal of the school. Matt had been on long term leave to enable him to experience teaching in Qatar for a year - sadly for Matt Covid19 meant that plan had to be cancelled. We are sad to see Matt leave after a long association with the school but wish him well in his new position as Deputy Principal at St Clair School.
