Maddy Goggin Joins Cuttyhunk CAN! as Social Media Wrangler and Program Assistant

Gosnold, MA • June 1, 2023

Cuttyhunk CAN! (The Gosnold Cuttyhunk Climate Action Network) is pleased to announce the award of a working fellowship to Maddy Goggin, a talented junior from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI), as their new Social Media Wrangler and Program Assistant. The appointment is made possible in part with funding from “Every Day is Earth Day,” a Buzzards Bay Coalition grant program.

Maddy is a Civil Engineering major, with dual minors in Sustainability Engineering and Graphic Design, With her expertise in social and digital media, and graphic design, she brings  an enhanced perspective to our public information efforts. As the Social Media Wrangler, she will help lead the development and implementation  of Cuttyhunk CAN!'s Summer 2023  social media campaign, raising awareness about climate change while  promoting sustainable practices.

Maddy notes: “I have spent my summers at Cuttyhunk since I was a little kid and am passionate about promoting environmentalism around Buzzards Bay.” She adds: “I am super excited to work with the Gosnold Climate Action Network this summer!“

Cuttyhunk CAN! is equally excited to welcome Maddy Goggin on board, confident that her dedication and skills will drive impactful change and inspire individuals to take positive action in combating climate change.
