OUR PRIORITIES

At the present time, these are our PRIORITY ISSUES we are working to achieve. This list will change from time to time. *Seek safe wildlife crossings of I-90 between Bozeman and

 Livingstone to accommodate Elk, Deer Bear (both Black &

Grizzly), Cougar, Wolverine, etc.

*I-90 Highway Crossing overpass for wildlife just west of

Bozeman Pass.

*Seek establishment of a wildlife corridor extending from

Mexico to Canada. Maximum WILDERNESS designation by Congress for the Hyalite-Porcupine-Big Horn and the crest of Gallatin Range north from Yellowstone to Interstate 90.

*Safe Highway crossing for bison on US 191 north of West Yellowstone.

*Provision for Bison to roam into the National Forest lands north and west of Yellowstone.

*Introduction of Bison to the C.M. Russell Wildlife Refuge NE of Lewistown.

*Increase of Bighorn Sheep population in the Gravelly Range to 1,000 animals for sustained viability, similar for other bighorn sites.

*Outlaw animal trapping with steel traps in Montana.

*Outlaw the hunting and shooting of Grizzlies, Wolves and Mountain Lions (Cougars) in Montana.

*Preservation of Sage Grouse leks (mating sites) in Western states.
