The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a set of rules designed to better protect the personal data of European citizens. That is to say any form of information that can be directly or indirectly associated with an individual and that concerns his private, professional or public life. It can therefore be a name, an e-mail address, a photo, medical data, financial data,...
The Regulation will enter into force on the 25 of May 2018. By this date all companies will have to make every effort to comply with it.
In concrete terms, the GDPR means that every company must be able to demonstrate what personal data it collects, how it uses and manages them, and what measures it takes to protect them. This applies to all types of companies: from individual businesses to multinationals.
Localimus collects data for the sole purpose of implementing its services.
Furthermore, all sensitive data are encrypted and we do not transmit the data for commercial purposes to third parties.
At any time a user can:
- access and modify their data,
- look up their order history,
- request to change notification parameters,
- request that their data be deleted* from our servers.
* In order to meet our accounting obligations, we nevertheless have the legal obligation to keep all data related to orders, which are then only archived offline, for a period of 10 years as required by law.
After receiving the activation email to enjoy the services of your e-restaurant, users will have the choice to register or not.
If a user does not register, only the email address is retained so that they are allowed to register later to take advantage of the services. At this stage, their professional email address is not linked to any personal data since they have not yet provided any data about themselves or placed any orders.
PROTECTION OF PRIVACY
Localimus uses the data of the Customer's staff members for the sole purpose of enabling the execution of the contract with the Customer; however Localimus reserves the right of access to all information generated by the Customer in connection with the use of its software for the purpose of generating statistics or making personalised offers to staff members.
In particular, Localimus uses the data for:
Localimus may transmit personal data to the competent authorities and emergency services in order to respond to requests addressed to it. Localimus may also share personal data with its business partners in connection with the provision of the services referred to in this contract.
In order to avoid spam, Localimus reserves the right to transform the email address of a Customer's staff member into an alias@Localimus.be that will be forwarded to the Customer's final email address.
Upon termination of this agreement, the Customer may request Localimus to remove all business email addresses collected through the Localimus platform from its servers.
The data collected are those necessary for order processing. (Name, first name, email, orders, time and dates of orders, prices, products ordered and options, delivery address, means of payment used and transactions made).
The details provided by the customer as part of a business lunch order are also recorded (cost centre, meeting room, billing address and VAT number).
Localimus does not use proprietary in-house technology to process credit card payments, this service is managed by specialized and reputable companies that ensure security and encryption (Hipay/Paypal). When you order, only the amount of the order/payment and the email address used on Localimus are transferred to our PSP (Payment Service Provider). The email address is transferred for security reasons: receive your proof of payment on the same address as the email address used to order and receive your proof of order.
Apart from these amounts and the email address, the other data are not transferred.
The data required to perform the services are hosted in Europe on secure data centres in France in Strasbourg and Roubaix (OVH).
Our customer service through our platform and our IT manager.
Order data are saved for accounting and legal reasons for 10 years.
The other parties involved are related to payment services (PSP) and service providers.
Namely: OVH, Hipay, Paypal, CBC Bank, Payzen, Edenred (if applicable) and Monizze (if applicable).
