This letter provides guidance on what your child will be wearing for this year’s Chinese New Year performance.

Whenever multiple costume options are available, we have asked each student to pick the outfit they prefer. Please ask your child which one they chose. Below are images of what your child’s classroom will be wearing.

Costume Option:

White Shirt with scarf or tie

Plaid skirt, plaid shorts, blue shorts

Hair Accessory:

Red Ribbon wrapped like below image, but hair will be Two high ponytails

Clothing to wear underneath:

We ask that students wear underlayers as they will be getting their costumes on in a classroom with other students.  Please choose non-patterned clothes, such as shorts, leggings, thermals, undershirt, tank, or camisole. We want all students to feel comfortable in the clothes they wear under their costumes.

If you need assistance finding an appropriate item for your child to wear, please contact us. We are happy to help purchase items as needed.

The following images provide examples of what students have worn in the past:

Top:

White or skin-toned short sleeve or sleeveless top.

Bottom:
