This tournament satisfies the IHSA requirement for a team tournament

and will follow all IHSA Chess Rules.

Format:        Maximum 2 varsity teams per school, Limit of 20 teams total

HS Team Section (8 board, 4 rounds, G55/d5)

HS Ind/Team Section (5 rounds, G45/d5, Top 4 scores count to team awards)

Players on the Team Roster may not play in the Open Section

Time:                Check-in:        7:30am to 8:30 am

Team Section: R1-9:00a, R2-11:30a, R3-2:00p, R4-4:30p

                                Ind/Team:        R1-9:00a, R2-11:00a, R3-1:00p, R4-3:00p, R5-5:00p

Awards:        As soon as possible after final rounds, 7:00pm anticipated

Awards:        Top 4 Varsity Teams earn trophies

                Top 3 JV Teams earn trophies

Top 5 players in the Ind/Team Section earn medals

 Entry fee:        $100 per varsity team, $12 per Ind/Team Section player. Max $150 per school.
