MHAB After-School Program Overview

The MHAB After-School Program provides a warm, enriching, and dependable environment for children ages 5 to 11 after the school day ends. Licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care (EEC), our program upholds high standards of safety, care, and educational quality to support each child’s well-being and development.

A key feature of our program is daily Mandarin lessons, where children engage in interactive language learning through songs, stories, games, and hands-on activities. These lessons help students build a strong foundation in Mandarin while also fostering cultural appreciation and curiosity.

Conveniently located at Ming Hui Academy Boston in Cambridge, the program follows the Cambridge Public School District calendar and is closed when district schools are not in session, including snow days.

For Cambridge families, transportation is made easier with drop-off available at the nearby intersection of Harvey Street and Cedar Street via the CPS bus system. Families from outside Cambridge are welcome to join us and are responsible for arranging their own transportation.

Sign up and Enrollment procedure:

Step 1) 登記 Please fill out this google form and submit it. You will receive an email response from Google right away. If not, please check your spam folder. You can verify the information you submitted and keep the email for your record. Later you can edit and/or upload the Enrollment Form using the link "Edit response" provided in the response email.

Step 2) 下載填寫注册表 Download the Enrollment Form for 2025-2026 and fill up all questions in 6 pages. You may use the PDF Fill & Sign function for easy filling.

• Selection of Enrollment Days and Payment
• Child Information
• Parent/Guidance Information
• The First Aid and Medical Care Consent Form
• The Transportation Plan and Authorization Form
• Minor Release and Hold Harmless Agreement

         Individual Healthcare Plan (IHCP) and Emergency Medicine if your child has a chronic health condition such as nuts, milk allergy etc.
         (to be submitted on the first day of the new school year, if not sooner)

Step 3) 提交注册表 To submit the completed Enrollment Form, you can either upload a PDF file using the link "Edit response" provided in the response email; or email the form as an attachment to sunlingliew@minghuiacademyboston.org ; or mail the paper form to:

Step 4) 交付定金 Deposit Payment (Reg fee $40 + one-month fee): mail a check to the same address above.  Please write your child name - MHAB after school Deposit on the check memo for easy track of your payment.  or send it by Zelle, pay@minghuiacademyboston.org 

Your enrollment is confirmed upon receiving your Enrollment Form and deposit payment.

Ming Hui Academy Boston is located at 2464 Massachusetts Avenue #420, Cambridge, MA 02140.  The parking lot is located behind the building.  Visitor parking is available for drop off or pick up.
