75mm CIRCLES ON A CUBE - Isometric

Hints:

• Draw in Isometric from the Top and Front Views - see notes on Isometric

• When doing isometric circles we need to change to the Isometric Grid as follows:

• Right click on the grid or snap button at the bottom middle-right of the screen
• Select the Settings
• Change the Snap Type to Isometric Snap
• NOTE: Remember to change back to Rectangular snap when not doing circles.

• Right click on the ISODRAFT  button at the bottom and change the settings as follows:

• Draw the 75mm cube first along with the center lines.

• To draw the circles you will draw ELLIPSES using the Isometric feature as follows:

• Select Ellipse – Axis, End – and then enter “I” for Isometric then specify the middle of the ellipse (center of box) and the edge of the ellipse (the midpoint of a box side).

• Make sure you are on the proper Isometric Plane Mode  (cursor should line up to center lines) – Use F5 to change between modes.

• Do NOT dimension.
