Tools Required

Removal of Factory Skid Plate

  1. Using a 12mm socket, remove the factory plastic engine cover (2 bolts at the front, 2 at the rear).
  2. Remove all plastic snap clips securing the factory plastics. Set clips and bolts aside for reinstallation.

Preparation of ADF Skid Plate

  1. Attach the side protectors to the ADF skid plate using the provided button-head bolts and flange nuts.
  2. Ensure all hardware is secure but not overtightened.

Installation of ADF Skid Plate

  1. Position the ADF skid plate under the vehicle.
  2. Insert the two provided spacers at the front mounting locations.
  3. Use the retaining star washers to hold the spacers in place.
  4. Slide the front nose of the skid plate between the remaining factory plastic trim.
  5. Start by loosely installing the rear mounting bolts using the factory hardware.
  6. Install the front bolts with the spacers, keeping them finger-tight for alignment.
  7. Reinstall the plastic snap clips into the front nose section of the skid plate.
  8. Torque all bolts (front and rear) to 12.9 ft-lbs.
  9. Reattach the side plastic trim using the factory snap clips.
