ActivInspire Software will NOT Open

Sounds like you hit an OOPS button.

There are two Main Toolbox buttons that sometimes get selected by mistake.  See below for Option 1 and Option 2 to determine which one you clicked.

Option 1: You may have accidentally clicked on the Desktop Tools icon located in the Main Toolbox.  (icon looks like tools and a TV screen)

It will look as if ActivInspire closed leaving you with the following icon on your desktop.

To return to the open flipchart, simply hover on the circular icon.  

It will open several of the desktop tools that are available to use outside of the software (similar to Annotate over Desktop).  Click on the flipchart icon to return to ActivInspire.

Option 2: You may have accidentally clicked on the Desktop Annotate icon located in the Main Toolbox.  This will leave you with your ToolBox over your desktop.

Simply click the Desktop Annotate button on the Main Toolbox again and it will return the full ActivInspire to the display.
