This year, we will be extending our ski day until 4:30pm on both ski days. The bus will be leaving Mount Pakenham at 4:45pm and we will be returning to the school at approximately 5:00pm. Parents are responsible to pick up and sign out their child at the school at 5:00pm. Thank you very much for cooperation. PD Day A reminder that Friday, January 25th is a PD Day. There will be no school that day as the teachers will be participating in a variety of professional development activities. Floorball Tournaments We wish good luck to the students who will be representing the school at the floorball tournaments this week at St. Stephen School, located at 1145 Stittsville Main Street. The girls floorball tournament will be held on Tuesday, January 22nd and the boys floorball tournament will be held on Thursday, January 24th. Go Cubs! News from School Council Our next School Council meeting will be held in the Learning Commons on Tuesday, January 22nd, at 6:30pm. We hope to see many parents there. Students are reminded to bring their swimsuits and towels for these informative and exciting swim classes. Kindergarten Registration Any child who will turn four in 2019 is eligible to start Kindergarten in September. While the first week of Kindergarten registration has passed, parents are encouraged to come into the school and register their child. We are happy to welcome new students to our school. Please bring your child’s birth certificate (original, not a copy) and proof of residence (rental or purchase agreement, Bank/Credit Card Statement, Utility Bill, Property Tax Bill, or Phone/Cable/Internet Bill).
