11th Annual National Skills Development Summer Camp, July 8-12, 2019

General information:

What is it?  A unique residential camp experience for students to work alongside professionals examining various biology fields and developing laboratory skills through intensive hands-on activities.  The week is spent with like-minded students completing biology labs, attending lectures and seminars enriching your biological experiences.  Each day will include knowledge based material, labs to complete, and research opportunities to explore.  This camp runs parallel to Team Canada’s preparation for the International Biology Olympiad.  Camp is open to students from Grades 9-12.

Location:  Trent University, Peterborough, ON

Dates:  Monday, July 8 (9:30am start) - July 12, 2019 (2:00pm finish)

Cost:  $850.00 ($300.00 non-refundable deposit needed to secure your place at camp).  The remaining $550 is to be paid upon arrival to camp on July 8, 2019 (cheques payable to Canadian Biology Olympiad, or e-transfer to sylvie.bardin@uoit.ca) ,  Cost includes meals and evening snacks, accommodation, lab materials and activities.  There is 24-hour adult supervision of participants.

*NOTE: Transfers from/to Pearson International Airport (with pick-up on Sunday afternoon) can be arranged. Students arriving on Sunday will have an additional cost of $100.00 for food, transportation and accommodation. There will be supervision for students arriving on Sunday.
