Visual Arts 5th grade These students are studying the work of Alberto Giacometti. We will begin creating a figure sculpture in his style next week. 4th grade These students are studying the artwork of Claes Oldenburg. We will be playing with scale to create sculptures inspired by Oldenburg. 2nd-3rd grade: These students are creating artworks inspired the artist Henri Matisse. We will be creating abstract paper cutouts like Matisse. K-1st grade: These students are studying the artwork of Paul Klee. we are creating a paper cuttout work inspired by Klee’s “Castle and Sun” painting. PE Welcome back Kingfishers! I hope everyone had a wonderful break. I am excited to be back and continue to grow and learn with the students in PE. This first week back we are easing back into the flow of everything. This includes going over classroom expectations and procedures. With that being said, I wanted to remind everyone to please make sure your students are wearing the proper shoes in PE. You can review dress code expectations here. I appreciate your support in this.
