2020 Hauptman and Freeman Classic - Feb 8 - 9

Final Round Format

Division with 12 teams (BU10, GU12)

• These divisions are formatted into 2 brackets
• Each bracket has 6 teams with 2 pools (3 teams per pool)
• Team play across pools within the bracket
• At the end of pool play, top two teams across the two pools within the bracket will play in the final (medal round)
• Final 1: Pool A/B #1 Vs Pool A/B #2
• Final 2: Pool C/D #1 Vs Pool C/D #2

Division with 10 teams (GU10)

• Two brackets are formed
• Bracket 1 has 6 teams divided into 2 pools (A, B)
• Bracket 2 has 4 teams (a single pool)
• At the end of pool play:

• Top 4 teams in points across pools A, B, and C  will play the finals (medal round)

• Final 1: Pool A/B/C #1 Vs Pool A/B/C #2
• Final 2: Pool A/B/C #3 Vs Pool A/B/C #4

Division with 8 teams (BU12)

• Two pools are formed (Pool A, Pool B). 4 teams per pool
• At the end of pool play:

• Winner of pool A, play winner of pool B

• Final: Pool A #1 Vs Pool B#1

Division with 6 teams (GU14, BU14)

• Two pools are formed (Pool A, Pool B). 3 teams per pool
• Teams play across pool
• At the end of pool play: Top two teams in points across pool A and B will play in the final
• Final: Pool A/B #1 Vs Pool A/B #2
