Investors vs Renters

Some people prefer to be investors and some prefer to be renters. What's the difference? Let's do the math:

An investor in the New Liberty vessel would pay an average of $65K for a cabin for 10 years (which comes out to around $541.67/month). The $65K would be due by 2034 and the vessel would be built and deployed by 2037... and they would then have this prepaid cabin until 2047. A renter wants to pay month to month with no long-term commitments. In this scenario, how much would rent likely be? A typical ROI (return on investment) is 10% or 7 years (after 7 years the investor has earned back what they spent - their first profits would occur after that point in time). If the investor spent $65K in 2034, and wants to earn his money back in 7 years (2041) then that means he has from 2037 until 2041 (4 years) of constant rent to make back his $65K, which comes out to $1,354.17 per month (assuming no additional investments were made into the cabin and the cabin had faithfully paying renters 100% of the time with no damages or repairs)... so this is likely the minimal of what renters would be paying (compared to what the investors pay).

Being an investor is cheaper in the long-term, but it requires a larger up-front investment which isn't something everyone is interested in. ...so I suspect most people would be renters, even though it costs more long-term.

What are your thoughts on this?

"How will you handle regular waste like paper, tissues, etc - meaning non bathroom waste"

It'll be a free market service. Some waste will be collected for free (because there's value someone discovered in it, such as aluminum, steel, etc) and some people will have to pay to remove it. It'll either be burned safely (like how Japan does it), used to build artificial islands (again, also like Japan does it), or the market will pay another country to bury it there.

But the Constitution forbids pollution of space that isn't yours: http://userdimensions.com/Tony/FreedomHaven/Constitution.aspx#DEF_POLLUTION

"Any damages, such as pollution (as defined above), to the water/land/air before it is claimed (as stated above) are not allowed, and any claimed water/land/air that is damaged in this manner may not be returned to the area owned by the country of Freedom Haven until the damage has first been repaired."

...and New Liberty doesn't allow you to rent cabin space to be used for long term trash storage (so you can't rent a space, fill it up with trash, and disappear.

THEFT

THEFT is taking, destroying, using, or damaging Property without consent, and is only sometimes justified if it's the minimal force needed against an attacker for self-defense. Theft includes the following:

robbery
invasion/trespassing
arson/vandalism
using someone else's Property without their consent. This includes rape, which is physically using someone else's body for sexual intercourse without their consent.
