-Resource Instructions-

This smartphone device is for the circulating nurse #2 to enhance nurse communication with the aim at ensuring quality care and positive patient outcomes. The “CIRC2-PCC Group” is connected between 7 devices: one tablet at INCH, one tablet at zone 2, one tablet at zone 2 intake, and four tablets at the nursing station.

-START OF SHIFT-

1.    Unplug android smartphone from charging cord (residing next to the PCC android tablet station)

2.    Wipe the phone with down a sani-wipe

3.    Turn phone ON by pressing and holding the side button

4.    Enter pin located at the bottom left corner of the phone to access apps

5.    Tap on the interface to enter the “Signal App”

6.    Text in the “CIRC2-PCC Nurse Group”

a.    Name + “ON”

 i.     EX: Jane, ON

-END OF SHIFT-

1.    Text in the “CIRC2-PCC Nurse Group”

a.    Name + “OFF”

  i.     EX: Jane, OFF

2.    Wipe the phone down with a sani-wipe

3.    Turn the phone OFF by pressing and holding the side button

4.    Plug the phone in with the designated charging cord next to the PCC android tablet
