Overview

Team is seeking a junior-level Social Media Strategist that will help us to deliver sharp insights and great content to our studio’s clients. Our ideal candidate is well-informed on the latest developments in social media strategy but also has a pragmatic approach to finding solid and sustainable results. They will also lead and execute Team’s own social strategy. They understand the dynamics of a good client relationship and also understand the value that a well-run studio brings: the room to think and explore, shared motivation, a culture of collaboration, and a sense of fairness and balance.

Position

As a Social Media Strategist at Team, you’ll be working closely with our clients to develop smart social media strategies that help them reach their goals. You’ll have insights to share around industry developments and best practices. You will prepare content calendars that put your knowledge into practice and lay out paths for continued success. You’ll also write and produce social content for clients across a wide range of industries, and continually monitor and test its performance.

What you need to succeed

• Experience: 1-2 years of agency or brand experience developing social media strategy, creating original content, editing copy, and engaging with an audience.
• Expertise: As Team’s first on-staff social media hire, you are ready to be an trusted and valued source of knowledge both internally and externally
• Autonomy: You have the ability to effectively set your own priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellence: You have great taste and tonal control, plus flawless spelling and grammar
• Collaboration: You have a positive attitude and work well with your co-workers. You communicate effectively and respectfully, providing feedback and modeling Team’s values, vision, and design standards.
• Critical Thinking: You enjoy identifying problems and finding clever, creative solutions.
• Presentation: You’re comfortable presenting your work and ideas both internally and externally

 
Your responsibilities include:

• Developing social media strategies that address the specific goals, positioning, and needs of Team’s clients
• Managing cross-channel content calendars
• Creating original posts for all relevant platforms
• Maintain quality control and edit copy
• Participating in client meetings, calls and presenting your work
• Managing client relationships, providing ongoing feedback and insights
• Maintaining expertise in social media trends and industry developments

Requirements:

• BA, BFA, or MFA in design, fine art, or related subject or equivalent experience
• Minimum 1-2 years working in a brand or agency setting
