INTRODUCTION
Generation UK & Ireland is committed to providing the highest levels of service and experience to our applicants. Our Admissions processes and procedures are designed to be fair and equitable to all applicants and give every prospective learner the opportunity to demonstrate their suitability for their chosen programme.
It is the responsibility of the Admissions team to ensure that selection standards are met consistently and fairly. Applicants who are denied entry onto a Generation UK & I programme can make a formal appeal to the Admissions team requesting re-consideration of the application.
CRITERIA FOR MAKING AN APPEAL
An appeal can be submitted under various circumstances, including but not limited to:
- Applicants finds that their credentials (academic, professional) have significantly changed during the course of their application
- Applicant believes some of all of their submitted documentation was lost or recorded incorrectly against our eligibility criteria
- Applicant believes there was an error made in the screening of their application
An appeal cannot be submitted under the following circumstances:
- Applicant does not meet our eligibility criteria and ineligibility is proven by documentation submitted by the applicant
- Applicant submits false or misleading documentation
- Applicant makes an incomplete application - does not submit the required documentation or does not sign up to required stages of the process: interview, group task, support needs conversation
- Applicants fails to meet admissions requirements by a given deadline, eg. fails to respond to communication from Generation UK & I requested submissions of eligibility documents
GUIDANCE FOR SUBMITTING AN APPEAL
- All appeals must be submitted within 7 working days (defined as Monday to Friday) of applicant receiving the initial outcome of their application from Generation UK & I
- Applicants are permitted to submit one appeal per application process
- The appeal must be submitted in writing, by email, using the contact details below
- The appeal must include all required details listed below
- A successful appeal does not guarantee a place on a programme - a positive outcome will be either:

- A place on a boot-camp programme, should the appeal be concerned with rejection at the final stage of the application process
Following communication from Generation UK & I that an applicant has not secured a place on their chosen programme, a formal appeal can be made.
To be considered, the appeal should be submitted in writing to the Director of Admissions at: stefanie.hurrell@generation.org
The appeal should include the following details - appeals submitted without the following details will be subject to delays in consideration:
