Preston Hot Springs Town-County Library
1. Services to the Public: Knit Wit knitting project this month will be a baby dress/sweater. Knit Wit starts at 1pm on Fridays and will continue to do timed writing and readings. Book discussion group will discuss Dinners With Ruth by Nina Totenberg April 18, 2024 3pm at the library. Paper crafts will be pick your project on Saturdays from 1pm to 4pm. Mark Cometti will be at the library Friday April 19, 2024 at 1pm to “share his experience learning to grow staple foods in the garden for a year-round food supply.
2. Collections: The book sale is over we will have another one starting the end of June.
3. Technology: The library will have an internet wellness check April 9, 2024, courtesy of the Montana State Library.
The Friends of the Hot Springs Library will hold their annual Honoring Tea April 8,2024 at the library. Honoree this year will be the late Thelma Niemeyer. We will also be observing the solar eclipse that day. We will only see a piece in our area. The Tea will be from 10am-2pm. We will have eclipse glasses available at the library. Library services will be available during the event including the computer center. We will close at 2pm.
The Library Board of Trustees will meet Wednesday, April 20, 2024 at 5 PM.
