I chose Virgil Abloh because of his art style and his signature off-white arrows, his application of his art to clothing, and the simplicity of his works.

Abloh’s art style is quite simple because it mostly consists of labeling things with the “(insert text here)”. As you can see in his piece “Still Speaks Loudly” Face Mask, he puts the words in quotation marks.

Virgil’s application of his own art to clothing is quite impressive, because he uses his signature off-white arrows and makes many, many variations that always appeal to the public. Especially the rich public.

The simplicity of many of his design’s has made him as popular as he is today because his art style has become widely used and the same with his signature designs as well.
