Onboarding Analyst Contact

An Onboarding Analyst will process your Join Application once it has been submitted and will be a point of contact during your onboarding. They partner with your State Broker Team, who handles the license transfer process. For onboarding support you can contact our esteemed eXpert Care Concierges in eXp World, as well as through the swift channels of email and phone located below.

Onboarding Process Step by Step

Use your personal code to track your eXp Onboarding Status at any time.

 Onboarding Tracker

  • Step 1: Submit the Join Application

The agent must submit the eXp Realty Join Application in order to start their Onboarding process.

  • Join App Walk Through Guide
  • If you are interested in applying for a Letter of Intent or a Cap Deferment, after the Join Application is submitted, please click on the links below for more information:
  • Please see below if you are an agent who is transitioning your team or brokerage to eXp Realty
  • As the Team Leader or Brokerage Owner, upon completion of your
    Join Application, a member of eXp Realty's Team and Brokerage Integrations will contact you to facilitate your team or brokerage transition and formation within eXp.
  • As a Team Member, upon your activation,  a member of eXp Realty's Team Services will contact you to address any inquiries as a team member.
  • Step 2: License Verification

The Onboarding Analyst will review the agent's name and license number on the state commission website and will verify the license status.
Please know that the agent's Join Application information must match their name as licensed.

  • Step 3: Broker Approval:

The Onboarding Analyst will contact the State Broker Team for further information regarding your license status and eligibility of transfer.

  • Step 4: Document Completion

The Onboarding Analyst will be reviewing the agent's completed
Independent Contractor Agreement (ICA) and will be contacting the agent regarding any revisions needed. All revision
correspondence will be sent from the following email: onboarding@exprealty.net. The paperwork for that revision will be sent from the following email: revisions@exprealty.net.

  • Please note that the final four digits of your tax identification number must match on both your W-9 form and Direct Deposit form.
  • For guidance on completing your W-9, please refer to the document below. Alternatively, we recommend seeking the counsel of a tax professional for further assistance.
  • Please note that if your Join Fee or Monthly Fees are filled out on your application to be paid by another party, the Onboarding Analyst will reach out to you to seek the contact information for that party to fill out a 3rd Party Payment Authorization Form.
  • Step 5: License Transfer Step

Depending on the agent's state, the State Broker Team will contact the agent with detailed instructions on the next steps of the license transfer process. Once the agent's license has been affiliated with eXp Realty, the agent will move to the final process of Onboarding.

  • Step 6: Become an active agent with eXp Realty

The Onboarding Analyst will review the agent's Join Application in full in order to activate them in our system. The agent will receive an automated Welcome Email once they are converted to active status in our internal system, Enterprise.
Please note that the $149 Join Fee will be charged within 24-48 hours of being activated.

Brokerage and Team Integrations Analyst

Team Structures at eXp

A Team at eXp Realty is defined as:

  • One Team Leader
  • One or more licensed agents working as a Team Member with a Team Agreement
  • Please note that this may vary per state guidelines

Team Agreements are mutually agreed upon terms between the Team Leader and Team Members. These agreements are in writing and carefully considered to ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws, as well as company policy. eXp Realty will not intervene in any disputes between Team Members and Team Leaders.

  • Domestic Team
  • Domestic Team Guidelines
  • Two eXp agents that are legally married or that file joint tax returns, or similar. The Primary and Secondary Partners have a combined Company Dollar Commission Cap of $16,000 and the Secondary Partner has a reduced Monthly Cloud Brokerage Fee.
  • Self-Organized Team
  • A minimum of two eXp agents. All agents on the team will have a Company Dollar Commission Cap of $16,000.
  • Standard Team
  • A minimum of two eXp agents. The Team Leader will have a Company Dollar Commission Cap of $16,000 and the Team Members are able to have a reduced Company Dollar Cap of $8,000. If the reduced cap is elected, the Minimum Team Split of 25% to the Team Leader on all transactions will apply.
  • Mega Icon Team
  • A minimum of 11 eXp agents: 1 Team Leader and 10 Reduced Cap Team Members. The Team Leader will have a Company Dollar Commission Cap of $16,000 and the Team Members are able to have a reduced Company Dollar Cap of $4,000. Satellite Team Leaders will have a Company Dollar Cap of $8,000. If the reduced cap is elected, the Minimum Team Split of 25% to the Team Leader on all transactions will apply.

Team Services Analyst

Joining an Onboarding eXp Team:

Welcome to eXp Realty! If you are joining eXp Realty with your Team who is transitioning to eXp, your Team Leader will be assigned to a Team Integrations Analyst.
The Integrations team facilitates the team transition from the first point of contact through the Onboarding and activation process. Once the Team Leader has been activated with eXp Realty, Team Services will assist with creating the team in our system and adding the Team Member
. Please see below for further details specific to each team type.

Joining an Existing eXp Team (Post Onboarding):

An active eXp agent can choose to join a team in any state, varying per state restrictions. An agent can only join one team at a time, and join or leave a team with proper notification at any time.

Documentation Required and Company Dollar Commission Cap Changes When Joining a Team

All Team Addendums are sent from Teams@exprealty.net via DropboxSign

  • Self-Organized Team Members
  • An eXp Team Addendum is not required.
  • The Company Dollar Commission Cap remains at $16,000 for all agents on the team and all agents may be eligible for an Agent ICON Award.
  • Standard Team Members
  • An eXp Standard Team Addendum is required to be completed by the Team Leader and each Team Member.
  • When the Standard Team Member Addendum has been completed, the agent will be added to the team in our system and the Company Dollar Commission Cap will be adjusted to the Standard Team Member Cap of $8,000.
  • Team Members on the reduced Standard Team Member Cap of $8,000 will not be eligible for an Agent ICON Award.
  • Team Members who opt to retain a full Company Dollar Commission Cap of $16,000 will complete a Full Cap Election Team Member packet and may be eligible for an Agent ICON Award.
  • Mega Icon Team Members
  • An eXp Mega Icon Team Addendum is required to be completed by the Team Leader and each Team Member.
  • When the Mega Icon Team Member Addendum has been completed, the agent will be added to the team in our system and the Company Dollar Commission Cap will be adjusted to the Mega Icon Team Member Cap of $4,000.
  • Team Members on the reduced Mega Icon Team Member Cap of $4,000 will not be eligible for an Agent ICON Award.
  • An eXp Mega Icon Satellite Team Leader Addendum is required for agents residing more than 100 miles from the Team Leader or residing in another state in which the Team Leader is not licensed.
  • When the Mega Icon Satellite Team Leader Addendum has been completed, the agent will be added to the team in our system and the Company Dollar Commission Cap will be adjusted to the Mega Icon Satellite Team Leader Cap of $8,000.
  • Mega Icon Satellite Team Leaders will not be eligible for an Agent ICON Award.
  • Team Members who opt to retain a full Company Dollar Commission Cap of $16,000 will complete a Full Cap Election Team Member packet and may be eligible for an Agent ICON Award.

not necessarily your real estate experience.  People want to know who you are & if they can know you, like you & trust you, so share who you are!  Give information people can relate to & find common ground with you, creating that trust! 

eXp Communications 

eXp Email

  • The eXp email address is an “alias” that automatically forwards to the personal email account that was designated upon joining eXp. There is not a separate inbox specifically for the eXp email address.  

Recommendations:

  • Use the eXp email address for all real estate communications. It is a marketing piece, it is something easy for clients to remember, and it’s also a way that eXp will communicate with the agent.  
  • Create a folder titled “eXp” to store important communications, logins, and more.
  • Chrome is the preferred browser for eXp programs and platforms. Download Chrome to your computer.
  • Create an email signature for the eXp email address to provide important information in your correspondence.
    Add your signature as a mobile signature on your phone as well.
    Tip: Be mindful of lots of pictures or add-ons as most are viewed on phones.
