Get Involved with the PTO!

There's a place for everyone in the PTO—whether you can volunteer for an hour, help behind the scenes, or take the lead on an event.

Open positions are marked "Open" below. No experience is necessary, and many roles can be shared with a friend. PTO Board members are always available to provide guidance and support.

Open Positions:

• Assemblies Year Round

• Organize 3–5 fun, interactive, and inspiring assemblies for students in Kindergarten through 8th grade. Plan and schedule programs before the school year begins and coordinate dates with external vendors and the Principals.

• Book Fair October

• Scholastic Book Fair hosted in the school Library.

• Bulletin Board Year Round

• Design and decorate the school bulletin board throughout the year.

• Back to School September

• Volunteer for the PTO table at either the elementary or middle school night. Help welcome families and promote our upcoming PTO events and spirit wear.

• Dine to Donate Year Round

• Partner with local restaurants to do small fundraisers and also create an outing for families.

• Fall Fest October

• Join the PTO Board in bringing the fun — help set up and run our booth during this festive event.

• Farmers Market August

• Host a booth with other PTO voluntees at the Farmers Market to welcome families, sell spirit wear, and share information about upcoming school events.

• Family Game Night at School Jan

• Plan a memorable evening for families to connect and have fun—bring your ideas and make it your own!

• Family Movie Night Winter / Summer

• Organize a movie night at the local cinema for a fun family outing..

• Hoom Room ParentsYear Round

• Assign 2-3 parent volunteers to be the class representative. Work with teachers and Principals before school starts to assign volunteers. Send out monthly PTO updates.

• Ice Cream Social September

• Hosted by the PTO Board for the new Incoming kindergarten families

• Teacher & Staff  Back to School Brunch September

• Hosted by the PTO Board + Volunteers to welcome teachers back to school.

• Teacher & Staff Appreciation Lunch May

• Hosted by the PTO Board and volunteers to celebrate and thank our teachers and staff for all they do throughout the school year

• Painted Pumpkin Patch Display October - 19th - 30th

• Create a festive outdoor display where students can bring and showcase their painted pumpkin - fun, creative, and full of fall spirit!

• Spooktacular October - 23rd

• Calling all elementary parents! Help plan and host this spooktacular fall party for our little ghouls.

• Spiritwear Year Round

• Coordinate spirit wear sales, promote new designs, and help families show their Bulldog pride.

• Social MediaYear Round

• Share PTO news, promote events, and celebrate school activities on the PTO's social media channels.

• Welcome Committee for New Families Year Round

• Be the friendly face of Bedminster! Help new families feel welcome by answering questions, sharing resources, and connecting them with the school community.

• Spring Fling Organizing Committee November - April

• Stuffing envelopes with invitations, raffle books, and tickets
• Picking up donations from sponsors and supporters
• Updating our 50/50 ticket sales board and tracker
• Helping the basket committee wrap gift baskets in the PTO closet
• Assisting with event setup and decorating
• Helping during the event by checking in guests, emceeing, or announcing basket winners
