How to Add PickUp Patrol to your Home Screen

PickUp Patrol is not downloaded from an app store. Instead, you can add it to your phone’s home screen following the instructions for your phone type and browser below.

How to Video: Adding PickUp Patrol to your Home Screen

iPhone-Safari (iOS 13 or later) Instructions

1. Open https://app.pickuppatrol.net/parents in Safari.
2. Tap the “share” button (square with arrow) on the bottom menu bar
3. Scroll down and tap “Add to Home Screen"  (If you don’t see Add to Home Screen, you can add it by scrolling down to the bottom of the list, tap Edit Actions, then tap Add to Home Screen).
4. Rename the shortcut, if you’d like, and tap Add in the top right corner.

iPhone-Safari (iOS 12 or earlier) Instructions

1. Open https://app.pickuppatrol.net/parents in Safari.
2. Tap the “share” button (square with arrow) on the bottom menu bar.
3. At the bottom of your screen, you’ll see a list of gray icons. Scroll to the right until you see “Add to Home Screen.”
4. Tap “Add to Home Screen"
5. Tap ADD in the top right corner.

iPhone-Chrome Instructions

• Open https://app.pickuppatrol.net/parents in Chrome.
• Tap the 3 dots on the top right.
• Scroll down and tap on “Add to Home Screen”.

Android-Chrome Instructions

1. Open https://app.pickuppatrol.net/parents in Chrome.
2. Tap the 3 dots on the top right.
3. Scroll down and tap on “Install and Create Shortcut”

Android-Microsoft Edge Instructions

1. Open https://app.pickuppatrol.net/parents in Edge.
2. Tap the 3 dots at the bottom of your screen.
3. Tap the “Add to Screen” icon.
4. Select “Add” and “Add” again, following the prompts.

Android-Firefox Instructions

1. Open https://app.pickuppatrol.net/parents in Firefox.
2. Tap the 3 dots on your screen
3. Then select “Add to Home screen”.
4. Follow the prompts to tap “Add” and “Add” again.

Note: PickUp Patrol does not work with Internet Explorer.
