1. Associate Vice President of Academic Affairs

1. Working on an Academic Advising Questionnaire to assess the status of our departmental advisors at BSU.

1. Academic advising has huge gaps from department to department
2. Kenny shares the questionnaire for Executive Council to look over

1. Helped Graf make the first question more clear as each college has a different advisor set up

3. Graf will send this out after is adjusted to get some feedback from us before sending it out to ASBSU and potentially campus wide
4. Charlie thinks that Graf should check to see if such a survey has been conducted before contact Tomas Baiza
5. Trying to have this finalized by next week

2. Suscomm will not be meeting this week

1. Need to connect with leadership before committee meets

3. Aidan McConnehey and Graf chatted about Dean Relations

1. Potentially have Dean Relations meet this week first half of committee, however some committees may need the entire time this week
2. One or both senators from each committee coming to dean relations?

1. As many as possible so he will request both senators from each college attend

2. Associate Vice President of Student Organizational Affairs 

1. Three individual grants heard last week as well as two addendums
2. Two or Three grants this week
3. Believe committee: Kayla touching base with Grace tomorrow

3. Administrative Director

1. None

4. Government Relations Officer

1. Still working on hiring a lobbyist position.  
2. She will be presenting a bill soon

5. Associate Vice President of Inclusive Excellence

1. Training for Executive Council on DEI
2. Feedback on what Executive believes this training should involve

1. Could Grace put a topic list together for approval?

1. She will send out a survey on topics
2. May schedule this during Executive it will take approximately an hour, tentatively on the 29th of November

3. Are we meeting dead or finals week?

1. Not meeting for all branches

7. Ethics Officer

1. Per Legislative Code, section three, subsection E.2.a (3.III.E.2.a) the Ethics Committee and IESC individually convened to examine Maren Long’s application for COBE Senator. Both bodies decided to appoint her to the position of COBE Senator and she has officially taken office. This appointment leaves five vacancies in the Senate:

1. x2 College of Innovation and Design
2. x1 College of Business and Economics
3. x1 College of Education
4. x1 Graduate College

2. Discuss Senator applications for the spring

1. The assembly applications will be open before thanksgiving through finals

8. Vice President

1. Campus food pantry pony up launched today

1. Dogs of Boise State calendar for over $30 donation
2. Currently at 45% of the goal a facebook post will go out soon

2. Round up campaign at the Bronco Shop for the campus food pantry as well
3. The Dining Services RFP is launched and closes on December 10th

9. President

1. Next week we will be having a team building meeting, rather than a usual Exec meeting. Jenn and America will facilitate Nov. 8. There is an expectation that everyone will be there in person.
2. Make sure that you go into slack and accept the invitation sent to you by Jenn. She will resend it 10/29.

1. When are SAFAB applications being decided on?

1. Not sure have to see how many applied
2. Hope to have training done before the end of the semester

2. Virtual Career Fair is this Wednesday
3. Dia de los Muertos festivities are this week
4. Kenny- Next meeting will take place in the Fishbowl Room of Student Involvement at 3:30 pm Monday, November 15th, 2021.
